BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted Santa Cruz Islands at 16:22:32 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 31 km, was initially determined to be at 11.66 degrees south latitude and 166.31 degrees east longitude. ■
