MOSCOW, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Thirteen people were injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, local authorities said Thursday.
Two of the wounded have been taken to local medical institutions and were in serious condition, Rostov region's acting governor Yury Slyusar said on his Telegram channel.
"Another 11 people with injuries are currently being delivered to the hospital. Information on the victims will be updated," he said.
Several apartment buildings in Rostov were damaged due to the drone attack, according to Slyusar.
Also on Thursday, a Ukrainian drone reportedly struck the government building and caused minor damage in west Russia's Belgorod region. ■
