SYDNEY -- The Chinese Consulate-General in Melbourne on Friday night urged Chinese citizens to take enhanced safety precautions after several street attacks occurred in its consular district of Tasmania.

BANGKOK -- Three Thai soldiers were injured in a landmine explosion on Saturday morning during a patrol operation along the Thai-Cambodian border, the Thai Army said.

BANGKOK -- At least 10 passengers were injured after a train bound for Bangkok derailed early Saturday in Thailand, local media reported.

KATHMANDU -- The Upper Marsyangdi A hydropower project funded and operated by a Chinese company in Nepal cumulatively generated 3 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity by Friday evening, contributing to a steady supply of clean energy to the national grid.
