ISLAMABAD, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistan military has killed 14 terrorists in an operation early Saturday morning in Zhob district of the country's southwest Balochistan province.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, said in a statement that the security forces conducted an operation in the vicinity of the Sambaza area of the district along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The military said that 14 terrorists were killed during the operation, and weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed militants.
The military added that it is a continuation of the operation, which started late Thursday night in the area in which 33 terrorists were killed by Friday morning.
"The number of terrorists killed in two days of anti-infiltration operation has risen to 47, including the 14 killed on Saturday morning," the military said. ■
