LHOKSEUMAWE, Indonesia, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Shrimp farms in Lhokseumawe, Aceh province, Indonesia, have enjoyed good income with the increase in exports.
According to Shrimp Insight, from January to May 2025, Indonesia's total shrimp exports reached 89,224 metric tons valued at 756 million U.S. dollars. These figures represent a 15 percent increase in volume and a 26 percent increase in value compared to the same period last year, reinforcing Indonesia's growing competitiveness in the global shrimp trade.
