NEW YORK -- U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday announcing an additional 25-percent tariff on goods imported from India in response to its Russian oil purchases, a White House statement said.
The order, effective 21 days after announcement, will raise tariffs on Indian goods to 50 percent alongside a separate 25-percent duty starting Thursday. (Trump-India-Tariff)

MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff on Wednesday held talks on Ukraine and the prospects for bilateral ties, said Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov.
"As for the topics covered, then, first of all, of course, it is the Ukrainian crisis. And the second topic is the prospects for the possible development of strategic cooperation between the United States and Russia," Ushakov said, adding that the talk was "very useful and constructive." MADRID -- A wildfire that broke out Tuesday afternoon near a campsite in Tarifa, a popular tourist destination in southwestern Spain, continues to burn and has forced the evacuation of over 1,500 people from hotels, campsites, and beach bars.
