TAIYUAN, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Ten people have been confirmed dead after a midsize bus went missing on Sunday morning in north China's Shanxi Province following days of heavy rainfall, local authorities said Wednesday.
The midsize bus carrying 14 people went missing near a village in Tianzhen County in the city of Datong early Sunday morning, according to the rescue headquarters.
As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, the bodies of 10 missing individuals had been recovered, while search efforts continue for those still unaccounted for. ■
