JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to present to the Israeli security cabinet a plan to annex parts of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday night.
According to the report, Netanyahu told Israeli ministers that Israel has given Hamas a few days to agree to a ceasefire, or Israel will begin to gradually annex parts of the Strip in stages until Hamas surrenders. (Israel-Gaza-Annexation)

BEIRUT -- A Hezbollah member was killed and four civilians were injured Monday in an Israeli drone strike on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese sources.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Health Ministry said in a press release that the drone strike targeted "a motorcycle in (the town of) Bint Jbeil," whereas a Lebanese security source told Xinhua that the victim was "Haitham Mohammad Idris, a local of Bint Jbeil and a member of Hezbollah." TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that the country currently has no plan for the resumption of nuclear talks with the United States.

GAZA -- At least 41 Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip on Monday, while 14 others died due to hunger and malnutrition amid the ongoing blockade, according to officials.
