Chinese shares close higher Monday

BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent to 3,597.94 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.44 percent higher at 11,217.58 points. ■
