ISLAMABAD -- Torrential monsoon rain-related incidents have killed 256 people and injured 616 others across Pakistan since June 26, the country's disaster management authority said on Thursday.

DHAKA -- A Chinese medical team is set to arrive in Dhaka Thursday evening to treat the injured from a plane crash that happened in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, on Monday.

HANOI -- Typhoon Wipha has left three people dead, one missing and five others injured in Vietnam, the Vietnam Disaster and Dyke Management Authority reported on Thursday.
