VIENTIANE, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Lao police in northern Bokeo province have arrested a man and seized more than four million amphetamine pills found in his possession, Lao National Radio reported on Thursday.
Police seized 4,160,000 amphetamine pills and 159 packages of crystal meth hidden in a six-wheeled truck traveling from Houayxay district to Paktha district on Tuesday, said the report.
The authorities are continuing investigations to identify and arrest additional suspects connected to the drug trafficking network, it added. ■
