KATHMANDU, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The just-concluded fiscal year 2024-25 saw 11 people killed in Chitwan National Park of Nepal, the park said on Thursday.

According to Abinash Thapa Magar, information officer at the park, 11 people were killed and 41 others injured in attacks by wild animals at the park during the period, and most of the deaths were caused by rhino attacks, followed by elephant and tiger attacks.

In addition, 23 houses at the park were destroyed in attacks by elephants in the fiscal year 2024-25 ending in mid-July.
