VLADIVOSTOK -- All five people on board a Mi-8 helicopter that went missing in Russia's Khabarovsk Territory have been confirmed dead, emergency authorities said Wednesday.
"Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with investigators, will examine the crash site, the helicopter wreckage, and search for the flight recorders to determine the cause of the accident," said the ministry. (Russia-Helicopter-Crash)

GAZA -- Twenty-one Palestinians were killed on Wednesday morning near an aid distribution center in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, said Gaza-based health authorities.
Among the dead, 15 were killed from suffocation due to the release of gases on the crowds and the subsequent stampede, said the health authorities in a statement. (Gaza Strip-Aid-GHF)

ISLAMABAD -- Two policemen were shot dead on Wednesday in a terrorist attack in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the police said.

NEW DELHI -- Two Naxals and a paramilitary trooper of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in a gunfight Wednesday in India's eastern state of Jharkhand, police said.
The gunfight broke out between Naxals and joint contingents of police and CRPF in the Kashitand forest of Lugu hills in Bokaro district, about 83 km northeast of Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. (India-Naxals-Gunfight) ■
