ULAN BATOR, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's inflation rate, measured by Consumer Price Index (CPI), reached 8.2 percent in June, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO) on Thursday.
The figure reflected a 3.6 percentage point increase compared to the same period last year and a 0.2 percentage point increase from the previous month, the NSO said.
Mongolia's central bank targeted an inflation rate within a range of 5 percent (+/- 2.0 percentage points) from 2027 to support macroeconomic and financial sector stability in the medium term.
According to the Asian Development Bank, Mongolia's economy in 2025 was expected to grow 6.6 percent. ■
