JERUSALEM -- Israel killed the head of Hamas' naval force in northern Gaza in an airstrike, the military and Shin Bet domestic security agency said on Sunday.
The strike, carried out by an Israeli fighter jet in Gaza City on June 30, killed Ramzi Ramadan Abd Ali Saleh, described by the Israeli authorities as the commander of Hamas' naval force in the northern Gaza Strip. Two other Hamas militants were also killed in the attack, including Hisham Ayman Atiya Mansour, deputy head of the movement's mortar array unit, and Nissim Muhammad Suleiman Abu Sabha, an operative in the same unit. LONDON -- The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued a security alert on Sunday following reports of a vessel attack approximately 51 nautical miles southwest of Al Hudaydah, Yemen.
According to UKMTO, the vessel came under assault by multiple small craft, which opened fire using small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. MOSCOW -- Russia's cargo spacecraft Progress MS-31 successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS), Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos said Sunday on its website.
The automated docking took place at 00:25 Moscow time on Sunday (2125 GMT Saturday) at the Poisk mini-research module on the Russian segment of the ISS. The spacecraft is scheduled to remain in orbit for 167 days. (Russia-Spacecraft) ■
