GAZA -- Two American aid workers were injured on Saturday morning in an attack during food distribution activities in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) said.

Preliminary information indicated the attack was carried out by two "assailants" who threw two grenades at the Americans, the GHF said in a statement on social media, noting that no local aid workers or civilians were harmed.
