Chinese shares close higher Monday

BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.59 percent to 3,444.43 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.83 percent higher at 10,465.12 points. ■
