ISLAMABAD, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Two terrorists were killed and two others apprehended in a security operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Sunday.
The operation was conducted on Saturday in Duki district on intelligence about the presence of militants involved in terrorist activities, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, said in a statement.
Security forces effectively raided the militants' hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, the terrorists were killed and captured, the statement said.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered during the operation, it added. ■
