BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 2216 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 35.87 degrees south latitude and 17.26 degrees west longitude. ■
