JERUSALEM, June 23 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Monday that it launched fresh attacks on "a number of surface-to-surface missile launch and storage sites aimed toward Israeli territory" in Kermanshah, western Iran.
More than 15 Israeli Air Force jets struck the area, the IDF said in a statement, adding that it also attacked six Iranian airports across the country overnight, destroying 15 fighter jets and helicopters. ■
