BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 16 (Xinhua) -- The strength and effectiveness of governance are crucial not only for driving organizational success, but also ensuring a nation's continued competitiveness, a senior Brunei government official said on Monday.
This is especially so in today's landscape shaped by global disruptions, climate challenges, digital shifts, and increasing stakeholder demands, Haji Khairuddin Hamid, deputy minister of finance and economy, said at Corporate Governance Forum 2025 on Monday held in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The forum, organized jointly by the Brunei Institute of Leadership & Islamic Finance and the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank, was held to support the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition 2025. ■
