NEW YORK, June 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted Kuril Islands at 18:35:11 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 46.12 degrees north latitude and 153.44 degrees east longitude. ■
