KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second-largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks grow 6.65 percent from April to 1.99 million tons in May, official data showed Tuesday.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said in a statement that the country's crude palm oil production increased by 5.05 percent month-on-month to 1.77 million tons.
Malaysia's palm oil exports surged 25.6 percent month-on-month to 1.39 million tons.
The country's palm oil imports also rose to 68,971 tons from 58,292 tons in April. ■
