NEW YORK, June 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted Near Coast of Northern Chile at 17:15:04 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 98.1 km, was initially determined to be at 26.61 degrees south latitude and 70.86 degrees west longitude. ■
