JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Wednesday night issued an urgent warning to residents of the Gaza Strip to avoid moving northward for their safety.
IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee addressed Gazan residents who have returned or intend to return to Beit Lahia, Jabalia, and Beit Hanoun, all north of Gaza City, on social media X, warning that the IDF is operating in these areas with "heavy force." (Israel-Gaza-Warning)

JERUSALEM -- Israel announced Thursday that its forces had retrieved the bodies of two hostages abducted during Hamas' assault on Oct. 7, 2023, which triggered an ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that the bodies of Judi Weinstein-Haggai and Gad Haggai, an Israeli-American couple from Kibbutz Nir Oz, were located and returned in a joint operation by the Shin Bet domestic security agency and the Israeli military. TEHRAN -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud agreed to further expand bilateral relations during a phone call on Thursday.
During the phone call, the two sides exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, and highlighted the necessity to promote unity within the Muslim world, according to a statement published on the Iranian president's official website. BEIRUT/JERUSALEM, June 5 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military launched airstrikes Thursday evening on buildings in several areas of Beirut's southern suburbs after evacuation warnings of attacking Hezbollah military infrastructure in the area.
The official Lebanese National News Agency reported that at least three missiles were fired at the southern suburb of Beirut.
