ISLAMABAD, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Thirty-two earthquakes have been felt in several areas of Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi since June 1, said a senior Met officer on Friday.
The earthquakes ranged from a magnitude of 1.5 to a maximum of 3.6 on the Richter scale have caused concern among residents, but no casualties or major structural damages were reported, Chief Meteorologist at the Pakistan Meteorological Department Ameer Haider Laghari told media.
Local authorities continue to monitor the situation closely to keep the public informed. ■
