VILNIUS, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda met outgoing Polish President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday to review bilateral ties and regional security, according to the Presidential Palace.
Nauseda hailed the past six years as a peak in Lithuanian-Polish relations, noting nearly 60 meetings with Duda and joint efforts, including connecting Lithuania's electricity grid to continental Europe.
He described Poland as Lithuania's top economic partner, citing cooperation in high-tech sectors. The leaders also discussed enhanced defense initiatives. ■
