Urgent: Bahrain, Colombia, DRC, Latvia, Liberia elected non-permanent members of UN Security Council

UNITED NATIONS, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Bahrain, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Latvia and Liberia were elected non-permanent members of the UN Security Council on Tuesday for a two-year term that begins on Jan. 1, 2026. ■
