In Cuba, special schools for the blind and visually impaired children lack essential tools due to the six-decade-long U.S. blockade against their country.
Those kids have limited, or no access at all, to braille machines and papers, high-prescription lenses, eye patches, special magnifiers and lamps.
"The blockade has always harmed special education; now even more so," said a parent.
