KATHMANDU, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Three children and eight adults were killed in fire incidents across Nepal between April 14 and May 14, police said on Tuesday.
Sixty-seven others were injured in 634 fires, which gutted properties worth 241.95 million Nepali rupees (1.78 million U.S. dollars), according to a Nepal Police report.
"A total of 151 houses, 101 sheds and three government offices were destroyed in the fires," the report noted. ■
