VIENTIANE, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) has concluded its 10th plenary session, outlining major achievements and setting strategic directions for the months ahead.
Lao National Radio reported on Sunday that during the meeting, participants reviewed the implementation of socio-economic and budgetary plans for the first half of 2025, commending the efforts of officials at all levels in maintaining political stability, social order, and sustained economic growth.
The meeting expressed concern over ongoing challenges, including inflation, exchange rate volatility, rising living costs, and various social issues affecting citizens.
It called on the government and local authorities to take practical and timely measures to address these concerns. ■
