NEW YORK, May 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted West of Macquarie Island at 2025-05-23 16:33:26 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 56.75 degrees south latitude and 147.44 degrees east longitude. ■
