NEW YORK, May 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Southern Sumatra, Indonesia at 19:52:34 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 4.09 degrees south latitude and 102.10 degrees east longitude. ■
