BISHKEK, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan's economy has maintained a high growth rate since the beginning of 2025, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev said at an extended meeting reviewing the Cabinet's performance over the first four months of the year.

The Cabinet's press service reported Monday that Kasymaliyev highlighted positive macroeconomic indicators, emphasizing the strong pace of economic growth.

"According to the results for the first four months of 2025, gross domestic product (GDP) reached 442.5 billion U.S. dollars. The real economic growth rate stood at 11.7 percent. Among the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, Kyrgyzstan recorded the highest GDP growth and ranks first. This was achieved through positive growth across all sectors," he said.

The prime minister also noted that in the first four months of the year, state budget revenues amounted to 3 billion U.S. dollars, exceeding the planned figure by 167 million U.S. dollars, with an implementation rate of 105.8 percent. Of this, 2.4 billion U.S. dollars were classified as actual budget revenue, fulfilling 106.3 percent of the target. During the same period last year, this figure stood at 1.4 billion U.S. dollars, marking an increase of 973 million U.S. dollars.
