BEIJING, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks were higher in the morning session on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.39 percent to 3,393.49 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.53 percent to 10,303.99 points at midday. ■
