SEOUL, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Two people were stabbed to death and two others injured in South Korea, with a suspect being on the run, Yonhap news agency said Monday.
The suspect fled after stabbing a woman in her 60s at a convenience store in Siheung, around 30 km southwest of Seoul, at about 9:34 a.m. local time (0034 GMT).
The woman was taken to a hospital with a serious stab wound to her abdomen and face.
An unidentified body was found in the house of the suspect in his 50s after the police confirmed his vehicle, home address and identity. The body appeared to have been dead for several days.
The suspect stabbed another man in his 70s at a sports park, some 2 km away from the convenience store, at around 1:21 p.m. local time (0421 GMT).
The man was seriously injured in his abdomen and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The police found another unidentified body in a house across from the convenience store at around 2:00 p.m. local time (0500 GMT).
Detectives were mobilized to track down the suspect, whose whereabouts remained unknown. ■
