BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Simon Lichtenberg, the all China founding chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, here on Monday.
The two sides exchanged views on Chinese President Xi Jinping's recent reply to a letter from Lichtenberg, saying Xi's reply released a strong signal of "believing in China is believing in a better tomorrow, and investing in China is investing in the future."
Noting that Xinhua News Agency and the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China have maintained friendly exchanges for a long time, Fu and Lichtenberg agreed to continue to give full play to their respective advantages, jointly tell the stories of how foreign enterprises win the future by investing in China, and constantly promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Denmark, as well as between China and Europe. ■
