DALIAN, May 19 (Xinhua) -- No.1 soybean futures closed higher on Monday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).
The most active No.1 soybean contract for July 2025 delivery gained 17 yuan (about 2.36 U.S. dollars) to close at 4,182 yuan per tonne.
On Monday, the total trading volume of five listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 189,063 lots, with a turnover of about 7.9 billion yuan.
China is the world's largest soybean importer. ■
