BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted central Peru at 10:22:06 GMT on Saturday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 14.67 degrees south latitude and 74.04 degrees west longitude. ■
