MINSK, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Annual inflation in Belarus amounted to 6.5 percent in April 2025, the country's statistical committee said on Monday.
The consumer price index amounted to 101 percent in April 2025 compared to March 2025, and 106.5 percent compared to April 2024, the committee said.
In April 2025, prices for food products increased by 1.4 percent compared to Dec. 2024; for non-food products by 0.7 percent; for services, by 0.5 percent.
The basic consumer price index, excluding the influence of administrative and seasonal factors, amounted to 100.8 percent in April 2025 compared to March 2025, and 103 percent compared to Dec. 2024. ■
