MAGELANG, Indonesia, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The weathered Buddhist temple of Borobudur, the oldest and largest temple in Indonesia, has survived the ages and still stands amidst the mountains and trees in Magelang, Central Java, to attract global tourists and pilgrims.
Borobudur, a UNESCO-listed world heritage site, is also the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and ranks with Bagan in Myanmar and Angkor Wat in Cambodia as one of the great archeological sites of Southeast Asia.
