ISLAMABAD -- At least one civilian was killed and five others, including four military personnel, were injured in a series of drone strikes by India targeting multiple locations in Pakistan since the early hours of Thursday, the Pakistani military said Thursday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, said 25 Harop drones had been shot down using a combination of electronic countermeasures and kinetic fire since the escalation began. (Pakistan-India-Drone Strikes)

NEW DELHI -- Six persons belonging to the same family died and two were seriously injured in an accident in north India, confirmed a local cop on Thursday.

BEIRUT -- One person was killed and eight others injured on Thursday in the Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon's southern city of Nabatieh, said the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Ministry of Public Health.
According to the National News Agency (NNA), a tense and anxious atmosphere prevailed among residents in the city of Nabatieh and its surrounding areas following the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the highlands and woodlands between the village of Kfar Tebnit, Upper Nabatieh, and the city of Kfar Remen. NEW DELHI -- Three policemen were killed Thursday in an improvised explosive device blast triggered by Naxals in the southern Indian state of Telangana, police said.
The attack took place near the Veerabhadravaram-Tadapala hillock of Wazeedu-Perur forest zone in Mulugu district, about 310 km northeast of Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana. (India-Blast)
