NEW YORK, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Tuesday.
The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery increased 1.96 U.S. dollars, or 3.43 percent, to settle at 59.09 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery gained 1.92 dollars, or 3.19 percent, to settle at 62.15 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. ■
