DHAKA, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's exports in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year (July 2024--June 2025) grew by nearly 10 percent to more than 40 billion U.S. dollars.
According to the latest official statistics of the Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), the country fetched 40.20 billion dollars from exports in July-April period of the 2024-25 fiscal year, compared to 36.61 billion dollars a year earlier.
Of the total, Bangladesh earned 32.64 billion dollars from exports of ready-made garments, including knitwear and woven.
Bangladesh has set its export target for the 2024-25 fiscal year at 50 billion dollars, including 40.48 billion dollars from ready-made garment products. ■
