PHNOM PENH, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Supreme courts of Cambodia and Laos on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on judicial cooperation, Cambodia's Supreme Court said in a press release.
Under the deal, both sides would promote and strengthen judicial partnership through visit exchanges and knowledge and experience sharing seminars on judicial professionalism, the press release said.
Both sides will enhance cooperation in the fight against transnational crimes, it said.
The two sides would also cooperate in settling cross-border civil disputes that occur in areas along the border, it added. ■
