LOS ANGELES, May 5 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed and nine others are unaccounted for after a boat was washed ashore near San Diego, U.S. state of California, on Monday morning, authorities said.
Agencies including the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) responded to a report of the overturned vessel off the coast of Del Mar, California, around 6:30 a.m., according to media reports.
The USCG is currently searching for the nine missing individuals off the coast of Del Mar, the agency said on X. ■
