TEHRAN -- The death toll from a massive explosion at a port in Iran's southern province of Hormozgan on Saturday has reached 40, and the government has announced one day of national mourning, Iran's IRIB news agency reported on Sunday.

BEIRUT -- Israeli forces carried out on Sunday an airstrike on a building in Hadath area in Beirut's southern suburbs, local TV channel al-Jadeed reported.

KHARTOUM -- At least 31 civilians were killed by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Omdurman, north of the Sudanese capital Khartoum, volunteer groups reported on Sunday.

GAZA -- At least 43 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, the enclave's Civil Defense said on Sunday.
