NEW YORK, April 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan, at 23:13:59 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 87.3 km, was initially determined to be at 35.91 degrees north latitude and 70.69 degrees east longitude. ■
