NEW YORK, April 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Hokkaido, Japan Region at 22:17:21 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 43.73 degrees north latitude and 145.97 degrees east longitude. ■
