NEW YORK, April 10 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter crashed into the Hudson River, around pier 40 in Manhattan, on Thursday afternoon, according to a post by the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
There was one death after the crash, CBS News reported, citing the NYPD.
Two people were pulled out of the water, but their conditions were unknown, the report said.
The New York City Fire Department said it was responding to the incident. ■
